Wonderful location and staff, we did not want to leave there. There was cafe Ryoi, that we found within 15 minutes' walk of the hotel. Nakagyo Ward neighborhood is worth seeing.

sushi no musashi, set within 10 minutes' walk, was the best for dining. kyoto is worth city break, sanjo keihan subway station is 15 minutes walk for better exploring. we liked staying at kyoto hotel okura.
